Vibe Code - I'm New

I was playing HD2 the other day when a friend mentioned Claude Code. I haven't looked into the tool too much till then. I have been using alpaca on pop!os for a while and haven't had a need for a vibe code solution but was very curious as to it's applications. One account set up and $20 later I was ready for Claude Code.

The first thing I did was see how well Claude would interact with it's own prompts. I asked Claude to build me a prompt to give Claude Code code to start a build for a desktop RSS feed app. I was surprised when after taking this action and going to Claude Code. All that wad needed from me was to approve actions as the code built and wait on compiling. After running the cmd for install and start I has my working app. A few revisions followed but it was easy as tell Claude what I needed from it. Now on version 1.8 all the functions I wanted are present.

I want to now start filtering through the code used to create my RSS app and analyze what Claude Code is doing different from how I would normally code. I believe I'll learn something fron the breakdown.

Now I am new to the vibe coding world and how much it is a meme in tech. But it's happening and isn't going away. Stockbro's not wanting to spend weeks coding are going to vibe code. I see a wide new market of developers specializing in how to fix and streamline the code AI puts out. I think some of the memes fit but believe vibe coding is solidly part of our technical future for the foreseeable future.

TLDR:
Claude Code is cool to build and learn with. Live the meme and vibe!
